CM, a third year college student, wrote this after we worked together by phone
for several sessions.
"Here is how EFT helped me:
By combining the tapping methods while acknowledging the problems but
reminding myself that I still loved myself and it was OK that I had these
anxiety issues, enormous amounts of stress and anxiety were
released/reduced. After performing a couple rounds of the tapping and doing
the necessary amount of studying for the class, I found myself heading into
exams much more relaxed and confident. And if I began to panic during an
exam I would calmly remind myself that I had prepared myself and I knew the
information, after this my confidence would return and I could continue on
the exam. Overall, this semester of college I achieved my highest GPA of a
3.461 (compared to 2.83 range of the past 3 semesters) I attribute this
raise to EFT, which I feel has made me not only a calmer and more confident
test-taker, but also overall as a student.
Hope this helps, I think EFT is an excellent method!"
AJ, a high school senior and I worked together for about an hour by phone. His math tests scores went from 40s and 50s to 80s and 90s and a 100 on his Geometry test. He said that he was going to teach it to one of his classmates who had panic attacks.
DA had to pass the math part of the College Level Academic Skills Test before she could register for her last semester of college. She called in a panic. We worked for about an hour on her math anxiety as well as her test anxiety. She called me after she finished the test the next day to let me know that she had passed with a good score.
